Ode to My Sock Monkey

Love my sock monkey
Her ears are so rub-able,
Her bow so squish-able.
Her arms wrap around me,
I love when she snuggles me!

Pink and white,
I love her stripes!
Her eyes so wide,
Like she sees inside!

So safe she makes me feel,
It's like she real!
She is my best friend,
On her help to sleep I can depend.

Together we will pretend,
Fantasy and dreams without end.
I will always call her Chunky,
My very own Sock Monkey!
